  • Eric Nunlee Portfolio and Blog  -  Wordpress / jQuery / PHP / MySQL Implementation Eric Nunlee came to me with this amazing design wanting it coded and implemented with Wordpress. He wanted the site to havesleek visual effects throughout so I suggested jQuery, this enabled me to deliver smooth scrolling, sliding, fading and more, which in turn gave it enhanced functionality and made the best use of screen real estate. The site was coded in valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional and tableless CSS 2.1. Here's what Eric said about my work...          Simon took all that I could dream up from my design to the functionality and made my personal portfolio site a true masterpiece. He is easy to work for and the best thing about him is that he will use his expertise to find the best alternatives to make your site work best. Not many developers will go that extra mile..., Eric Nunlee View the Portfolio
  • Gülay Birand Portfolio and Blog  -  Wordpress / jQuery Implementation Gülay Birand came to me with a design she wanted coded and implemented with Wordpress. It was important to provide a clear separation between the portfolio and blog section, this wasn't a problem. I also set up wordpress on her site and installed plugins to make it easier to update her site. Here's what what Gülay said about my work...          I contacted Simon to work on converting my portfolio design into a fairly complicated WordPress theme. As a UX Professional, it is extremely important that not only the visuals are excellent but the experience. Simon delivered a superbly and might I add rapidly, coded WordPress theme for the design I put together and I am very pleased with the results. Most importantly, he worked through every little detail and nitpick I had with the utmost professionalism and positivity. I continue to work with him on my site and look forward to his implementation of many of my other upcoming designs. If you are looking for fast turnover without sacrificing quality Simon is the person for you. View the Portfolio
  • Wavestreaming Blog  -  XHTML 1.0 / CSS 2.1 / Wordpress James Mulvany was redesigning his company website and wanted to add a blog. He hired me to integrate his design into Wordpress. He wanted it to work seamlessly with his main site so we referenced the websites CSS stylesheets to be used on the blog, this means that when he changes a style on the main site, it will automatically
    change on the blog too.
Here's what James said about my work...          We needed an experienced and reliable website developer to work with us on a redesign project for our site Wavestreaming.com. After gaining a selection of quotes elsewhere, we went with Simon North due to his impressive design/coding portfolio and his highly evident & in-depth knowledge of the Wordpress system. Simon not only delivered our project on time, but went above and beyond of what was expected. We'd thoroughly recommend the services offered by Simnor to anyone who is serious about their online ventures. James Mulvany, Igniso Ltd (February 2009) View the Blog
  • Property Frontiers Blogs  -  XHTML 1.0 / CSS 2.1 / Wordpress / jQuery Implementation Property Frontiers came to me wanting to integrate 5 blogs into their ASP.NET driven website, they wanted the blogs to share the same header and footer as the rest of the site. I took their designs and integrated them with Wordpress adding plugins and hacks to wordpress to make it work how they wanted, as a result it didn't validate but I did manage to get the blogs exactly how they wanted them. Here's what Kunle (project manager) said about my work...          This project was quite complex as it required coding five wordpress blogs that each worked differently within a website. When I presented Simon with my detailed requirements, he not only fully implemented them but also suggested improvements in specific aspects of the blogs. Simon's strong points are his attention to detail, his research abilities for problem solving and his quick response times. He listened attentively to my requirements, researched where necessary and made timely quality deliveries. Working with Simon on this project was a pleasure, I look forward to working with him again and would highly recommend him. View the Blog
